Duggan Cup
Congratulations to our victorious Duggan Cup team co-managed by Stephen Dorris and Alan Codd, who defeated Edenderry GC (3-2) on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the Duggan Cup.
Club Captain, John Tobin & his foursomes partner Donal Geraghty led by example and won out easily in the top match up front, 6&5 winners. Our much heralded, second home pairing of Francis O Donoghue & Eamonn O Brien ran out easy 3&2 winners in their match also.
Away from home in a rain soaked Edenderry GC, both Seamus Ennis & Davey Mcguire won the all important away Duggan Cup point beating their opposition in style on the 16th green 3&2, with a match winning birdie 2 no-less.
Well done to the team on an outstanding result.

Irish Mixed Foursomes Round 2
Congratulations to our mixed club team who won their 2nd round match (3.5-1.5) of the Irish Mixed Foursomes against Ashbourne GC last Sunday, April 22nd. Although in control at home in the third match it was away from home where both Marie Gordon & Anthony Farrelly won the decisive match winning point on the 19th green in Ashbourne GC.
