Dear Members,

Last weekend we witnessed a very large turnout of competitors for John Tobin, Men’s Captain’s Prize Weekend Qualifier.

Those members playing last Saturday morning experienced the coldest and wettest of the weekend’s conditions and after (129 scorecards) were processed, we have a strong looking leaderboard with Nick Power (3) leading the weekend qualifier field by one single shot on a superb Nett score of (67) strokes.

Leading Weekend Qualifier
Nick Power (3) 67 Nett

After applying the calculations, golfers who shot 78 or lower have qualified for Saturday’s final round, (69 golfers in total). After our leading qualifier, we have a bunched leaderboard and a good number of golfers who will fancy their chances of setting a winning clubhouse target.

Those at the top of the leaderboard include second placed, Alban Lawless (68), Frank Bohan (69), father & son Donal (71) & Cormac Geraghty (69), Pat Solan (69) & Martin Duignan (70) who leads 4 other golfers, just three single shots off the pace.

Other Information:

1. The timesheet for Saturdays final round is live on the BRS. Golfers should log into the BRS to check their tee-time as the timesheet is fixed and closed in reverse order in competition standings.
