Well done to all involved in the recent ILGU/AIG All Ireland Finals played at Knightsbrook Golf Club. Despite challenging weather, all competitions were completed and the course was in magnificent condition throughout. At the presentations’ ceremony on Saturday ILGU officials and team captains were high in their praise of Knightsbrook Golf Club as hosts to the competitions. The President of the ILGU, Brigid McCraw, was fulsome in her praise of the golf shop staff Dominic, Kate and Jack, hotel management, catering staff, golf course staff, Knightsbrook Ladies’ and Men’s Club Volunteers and the ILGU officials for all their hard work to ensure the event’s success. She also thanked AIG for its wonderful ongoing sponsorship of ladies’ golf.  Lady Captain Angela Reilly and General Manager, Patrick Curran welcomed all the teams, their supporters and also expressed their appreciation to all who helped make the event so successful.
