Pierce Purcell Shield
The Pierce Purcell Shield team performed well in Royal Tara GC on Saturday last, but unfortunately got piped on the line and did not make the matchplay stages of the competition. Overall, we ended up with (344 strokes) in 5th position out of 14 places. Four clubs qualified for the matchplay stages. They were Hollystown GC, Royal Tara GC, Co Meath GC & Ardee GC on (342 strokes) respectably.

Team Manager, Francis O ’Donoghue was very proud of his teams performance. Hard luck to the team on what was a good showing for the club.
