The committee has updated the competition rules in light of experience and based on GUI and CONGU rules. The club’s membership is increasing and more members are participating in competitions every weekend. As a result the club needs to constantly review its competition rules to ensure fair play. The committee also has obligations to the GUI to make certain that it adheres to its high standards. All club committees are subject to annual GUI audits to guarantee that the Competitions’ Secretary is carrying out his duties to the highest standards and in accordance with GUI rules. All members handicaps are monitored by your club Competitions’ Secretary on behalf of the GUI and any deviation from its rules by him, can effect all members’ handicaps. These reviewed rules are now posted on this website in the members’ competition section. Also the Honorary Secretary has emailed a copy to each member.
